I downloaded for free VideoPad Video Editor and it saved me!
Amazing free software (you can buy the Pro version if you want) with lots of features same as Windows Movie Maker plus more! It has exactly what I was looking for: capture from camera, import all kinds of file formats including QuickTime, double speed and slow motion and many sound effects including music clips!!!
I think I found my trademark tune for my videos ;)

This is my second (official) 'beauty' video. It was easier and quicker this time, although I think my old laptop cannot cope with big files and I really need to find a solution for the uploading bit. Any suggestions?  I can try using my photo camera again, and search for a video editing platform that accepts QuickTime. Or I could try another editing platform from the one YouTube offers, I think I just overused WeVideo for this month :(((

This is fun! I am currently on holidays and I have plenty of time in my hands!!!
I found this editing software on YouTube, called WeVideo, which takes QuickTime videos, which means I can upload from my photo camera. Windows Movie Maker doesn't take them (insert thousands of :((( here!)
With WeVideo I managed to edit the extended version of my Miracle video, which Magisto butchered and dubbed with (a lovely) Rolling Stones song.  So here is the extended, full and decent version:

I am currently editing and will upload soon, my beauty collection video and post it here as soon as it is up!
And.....(drum roll)
I have promised the selling team at E.L.F., that I will make a video using their products, and I have found the perfect idea for three different looks! I can only say one thing: you will be...Charmed!!! ;o)

I made my first video.
I am still struggling to find a way to connect the camcorder to my laptop, unfortunately it seems, after a chat with Sony support, that Windows Vista does not take my fabulous DV camcorder.
I shot this video with my photo camera and I used Magisto, http://www.magisto.com, to upload it on YouTube but it got butchered! My 6 mins video became 1:13 and most of my talking is gone, but the gist of it is:
I used It's Potent Eye Cream and Erase and Paste by Benefit http://www.benefitcosmetics.co.uk/ to help me with my dark circles and voilá!
The miracle has happened and my dark circles have disappeared!!!
Two great products!
This is my first video of this kind and I've shot a couple more - an extended version of this one and a beauty collection tour. Although the Magisto way is quite funky and I love the song, I don't think it's appropriate for the beauty videos. I hope you enjoy this one anyway.

 Another solution for dark circles is to sleep early. It's 4:39 am! I'd better get some sleep!!!
